We recently visited Gatorland, and let me tell you—it was a great experience! Three of us, including our soon-to-be 12-year-old, made the stop, and it brought back memories of my first visit over 40 years ago. It’s amazing how this classic attraction has continued to grow while keeping its old-school Florida charm!

Fun & Entertaining Shows
Gatorland offers several live shows that combine humor, education, and a little bit of daredevil action! From the Gator Jumparoo Show, where gators leap out of the water for food, to the Up-close Encounters, featuring exotic animals, there’s no shortage of excitement.
Thrilling Adventures (For an Extra Cost!)
Admission to Gatorland is super reasonable, but if you want to kick things up a notch, there are plenty of extra activities (some cash-only, so plan ahead!). These include:
- Feeding the Gators – Get up close and personal with these reptilian giants!
- Riding the Train – A fun way to explore the park.
- Animal Photo Ops – Hold a snake or sit on a gator for a once-in-a-lifetime pic!
- The Screamin’ Gator Zipline – Soar above the gator-infested swamps! (Our soon-to-be 12-year-old thought she wanted to try it… until she saw the gators below!
